ASP CM is a stand alone entity and responsible for manning the ASP management fleet.  They also supply crews to third parties as a licensed manning agent.  A high level of investment in training and career development has resulted in a stable seagoing staff with a very high retention level.

Through a network of recruiting offices, under one central administration, shipowners will be able to reduce the number of crew nationalities and select their personnel from amongst the major crew recruitment sources. These sources at present are principally Philippines, India, Australia and the Ukraine.

Hand in hand with the selection process is the business of training people to the highest possible standards for their particular functions.

We are already financially involved with leading maritime training institutions in the countries in which we have our recruitment offices. Our training policy is especially focused on attracting bright young potential officers to train as deck and engineering cadets. We want to ensure that our trainee officers not only receive training, but also that they are provided with a career path, which means they can see their way through to the most senior ranks in 10 to 12 years. These people will also be a future source of senior shore staff for the client's that we serve.
